The Highgate Fair in the Square is one of the highlights in the Highgate Summer Calendar when friends and neighbours come together in the Village for a fun day out and welcome visitors from further afield.

The event is free and takes place thanks to a team of volunteers as well as sponsors. The 2024 Fair in the Square is taking place on Saturday 8 June and we are now seeking volunteers to help on the day. If you are able to spare an hour or 2 on the day – morning or afternoon – to help with setting up, general stewarding and clearing up at the end of the day please get in touch as soon as possible. It’s a wonderful way to be part of a great event in our community and as you know these amazing events only happen with the help of volunteers.

We need people to help with:

• Set up/decorating the Square - between 9am to 12.30pm 

• General stewards - being visible around the site to help visitors and keeping them safe - from 12.00 to 5.30pm

• Welcome Stewards at the entry points around Square to greet visitors - from 11am to the end of Fair 

• General clearing up - from 5.30pm - all hands on deck!
